Paperboard packaging manufacturer in the US Keystone Folding Box Company has announced the launch of its new prescription pharmaceutical package Ecoslide-RX at Walmart stores.

According to the company, the package has an eco-friendly design that places a premium on both consumer safety and ease-of-use. It contains no plastic and has been produced from a sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable raw material.

Ecoslide-RX offers easy-to-read type on all sides and clear, simple opening instructions and is a solution for prescription products, physician's samples and clinical trial materials.

The packaging is being used in Walmart's $4 prescription drug program, an evidence to the pack's cost-effectiveness and its belief in compliance packaging.
